In this AMSSATalk, Katie Crocker, AMSSA CEO, moderates an armchair-style panel discussion with employment experts from the sector: Carolyn Neilson, VP Employment Services, YWCA Metro Vancouver; Garrison Duke, COO, DIVERSEcity Community Resources Society; and Patrick MacKenzie, CEO, Immigrant Employment Council of BC.
They discuss the changing world of work as related to current issues such as staff recruitment, retention, career progression, leadership development, sector compensation levels and well-being at work. They consider approaches that can contribute to building HR capacity as organizations strive to deliver settlement and employment services that help newcomers achieve the best possible settlement outcomes.
